What the fukk ever. Xbox live gives free games you own PERMENANTLY. PS+ games are free to play temporarily. Please stop talking about shyt you have no clue about.

yeah but look at the shytty 4-5 yr old games you're getting permanently. and most of you have xbl anyways, so it's not like you're getting over on the system.

i got ps+ with ps3 because i noticed they were giving out several recent games for a cheap subscription fee. it's too the point where i've given up onmy ps3 because it's filled w/too many games i'll never get to.. ps4 is also feeding us with free games. not on par with ps3, but it still makes the subscription fee worth it.

Yeah huge misstep by everyone involved in my opinion. Everytime I have to get up and switch a disc, I think about how things could have been. Hopefully they come up with some type of opt-in plan for the future.

Because downloading multiple 50 GB games in a month with a 150 GB bandwidth cap works. Last I knew you can still buy digital copies of games if you want. Its sickening to see all these corporate apologists defend companies bs.

But all the features they did have in place, 3cepts or PC nerds all held hands and said it couldn't be done

more people spoke on that than anything... i just came from the hotel.. it's damn near impossible to hook up to hotel internet with a 360 cause they don't let you do the room and last name login, even if its open wifi.. not to mention those countries who didn't have the best speed... or people who didn't connect to the internet (yes there are people with 360s and ps4 and no damn internet connection to either)

DRM was the main thing that scared me off xbox1. I just thought what if Comcast servers were trippin or MS had issues? Would I still be able to play my games?Or for how long could I play them until I need to check in? That scared me off along with the price

Think about how many games/dvd's you owned over the last 7 years. That you don't have access to now. You would no longer have to keep up with discs. Your right to own that content will always be held digitally, and you can access your content wherever you go.

The XBL games that you guys have gotten over the past few months aren't anything to write home about if I remember.... Halo 3?? Isn't that the flagship shooter of yesterday or should I say 2007??? That game alone doesn't compare to the myriad of titles given out by PS+ these past few months alone on PS+.

Well get a better internet provider. You argue in favor for an always online system in place for consoles but yet have such a slow internet connection that it takes upwards of up to 2 days to download??(I know it's an exaggeration but yea..) Also not every game is freaking 40gb man lol.

You probably can't share/trade digital games on consoles right now explicitly, but on Steam the family sharing beta allows up to 10 devices to be authorized enabling sharing of the main accounts library. If anything is wrong with the setup for consoles it's the pricing. I have no qualms buying games on Steam since they're usually much cheaper and I have the benefit of buying games from different marketplaces. On Xbox I can only buy games through Microsoft. At least on Sony's end they partnered up with Amazon to provide a digital store front which was great as there were games with big discounts sold on Amazon digitally that weren't discounted on the PS Store.
