Nah, we are in full rebuilding mode. Once you accept that fact then you can enjoy the games regardless whether the team is good or not. I do wonder what Kobe thinks about it though because deep down he should know that the last 2 years of his career will be used as a "sacrifice" upon which the foundation for the next goat lakers team will be built. I think that's why Jeanie gave him that contract.

These moves are 4 years too late in hindsight because they should have been trying to recruit younger talent around Kobe since 2010.

I ain't even mad i wanted Pau gone anyway but he should've been traded during the season when Phx and them was offering a late first/early 2nd rounders.

They wasn't offering picks breh. They offered Okafor and his contract only but Mitch insisted on a pick and Phx said no so Pau wound up not getting moved. :manny:

Well.. then we should´ve taken Okafor for tanking purposes:yeshrug:

In all honesty with the draft going the way it did I don't think we would've fared no better in the draft order if we would've "tanked harder" the league was gone make sure Cle got the number one pick no matter what happened, we wasn't gone out-trash Mil and Philly and Orl still had the edge on us and it was a toss up btw us, Utah and Boston for 5, 6 & 7.

But Mitch couldn't rationalize giving up one of the most skilled bigs in the league and a possible HOFer for just a contract even at 33 years old
