pretty much. We might as well fill in the holes in the starting lineup and be competitive. Signing melo wont' make us stronger on the perimeter defensively. And our cap situation makes me more at D'Antoni for letting Nash get into that game. His salary wouldn't have counted against the cap and nash would still get his money: Win-Win situation shyt I think that decision was worse than signing kobe to the extension tbh
