It won't fix everything at once but at least it's a start. I'd way rather get a piece now then hope for the Lakers to just sign two or three huge guys at once.

Funniest shyt about this whole Melo Drama, was when that moron Chris Broussard said that Melo was only meeting the Lakers because he lives close by the facility and was only going for Kobe, saying they have no chance at all.

ESPN is east coast bias so I haven't been surprised.

Lakers' bigs always get killed in the PNR, but Bosh has been one of the best PNR defenders in the game. Toronto Bosh is gone, but I still think he would be a really nice fit with us imo.

I don't really feel like dealing with anymore soft big men.

Melo/LeBron or bust. LeBron can play the 4 and have Barklondolph coming off the bench terrorizing the 2nd unit, Melo the primary scoring threat, Kobe the next option providing post play and all around plays. Getting both of them would make us an immediate contender while just Melo won't address our defense much.

It hasn't gotten THAT bad yet, but I've put up my same wall of apathy that I do for the Raiders because I can't get my hopes up with a coke sniffing megalomaniac running the basketball operations of the team.
