First off we don't know how good of a coach Kerr will be. Secondly The Lakers still have a chance to grab a good coach but they seem to refuse to do it. Mark Jackson and Lionel Hollins are both still unemployed. Why choose the worst coaches you can find?

Our ownership is fukking retarded, that's how. And even if Kerr is decent he doesn't have the rapport with the players that Mark Jackson had. Your superstar came out and defended Jackson's coaching on numerous occasions. Also if the Warriors had Bogut they would have certainly knocked off the Clippers and who knows what they would have done next. 7 games missing their defensive anchor and a top 3 DTRG throughout the year gets you fired in the Bay :heh:

I'd pass. I don't want to give a big contract to a PG, especially when Kobe is gonna be there for two more years. I'm content with Farmar starting.

I'm still fully in the Embiid camp. If he's available, I think they have to take that risk. Even if they have to sit him out the season, that's their potential franchise cornerstone once Kobe is gone. Imagine if he can get back on the court, even if it's not until February or March, but he tears it up. That makes LA a REALLY appealing option for free agents in the future.
