They(the Front office) cant get a meeting with Melo. They are trying to go through Kobe so he can get the meeting for them. That's why Kobe is planning to meet with Melo.

I'm not believing in any world Carmelo won't meet with the Lakers. ESPN just said Carmelo plans on meeting with the Lakers. they are letting Kobe set the ground work before front office meets with Melo.

Phil Jackson hasn't made any moves besides getting a coach...nobody has...and nobody can... until July 10th...hell nobody is supposed to do any negotiating until July 1st. We don't want to rush into getting a coach...and me personally dont want to trade the pick unless someone makes an offer we can't refuse. Klay Thompson is not that offer...Kevin Love isnt either. Patience is the key. Luck is the word of the day. I hope we somehow get Marcus Smart
