Capwise, do we have a realistic shot at getting one of these guards... lowry/lance/bledsoe and one of these 3's..deng/ariza...along with the randle pick i'd be content with that this summer :manny:

Deng... yeah. Didn't really have one of his better years. Part of that is becuz of where he was playing so the market will be down on him.

Bledsoe is asking for the max. That's funny as hell to me. He aint getting it. Problem with getting him is we'll have to drive the price up so high to where the Suns won't match. I don't like that shyt.

That's not my problem. :heh:
Thing is they own his Byrd rights and they can match any offer. For you to get him away from there you would have to heavily overpay per year to make up for the less years you could give him.
Now, does Marcin Gortat seem like the kind of player that is worth overpaying for?:smugfavre:
Look he's a nice player and is likely to get about 6-8M a year and thats probably what Washington will offer. If you wanna go over that for Gortat, be our guest. Nothing would bring me more joy than to see the Knicks and Lakers be cap strapped by players not worth their salaries :pachaha:

I think so.. We'd have to overpay for Deng or Bledsoe though. I'd settle for Lowry + Ariza.

Again, be my guess. Overpaying isn't really the problem here. It's who else could you have had for that cap room. But again, be my guess. I'm sure the Lakers will be just fine in the long run. Just too late for Bean

In effort to clear cap space for run at LeBron & Melo, told #Lakers will not extend qualifying offer to @KentBazemore20, making him an UFA.
