There is more than enough money left for the Lakers FO to put a competitive team together. Kobe was getting paid more in the past. We all wish the deal was less but it is what it is.

Kobe, Randle and Pau are better than anyone on the Knicks and LA can give him a four year max. Why would he choose NY over LA?

Kobe wouldn't have signed a cheaper deal no matter how you tried to sold it him. Only way that happens is if the FO waits to see on how the season plays out.
