No. They had to trade first-rounders because they were over the luxury tax, and could not afford more three-year guaranteed contracts for guys like Kendall Marshall and Xavier Henry, and Jordan Hill, who you'll end up being able to sign three seasons later anyway, for less of a commitment of both time and money.

THAT'S why they traded first-rounders over the last few seasons.
