Also, if they do a sign and trade with Chicago for Gasol, they need to get Mirotic back in that deal. Gasol and Nash for Boozer and Mirotic.

Sources close to the situation told ESPN.com's Ramona late Friday that a sign-and-trade arrangement with the Bulls has not been struck, with the Lakers still looking for draft compensation -- as they received in Friday's earlier trade with Houston to take back the contract of Jeremy Lin -- as the primary return for Gasol.

Per ESPN, Bulls and Pau are "closing in on a deal" without a sign-and-trade. Lakers are seeking draft compensation. es.pn/1q52pcp

I'm starting to really consider how inconsequential Kobe's big contract is now that all this has happened. What kind of difference could we have made with this FO if Kobe was getting 11 per year? These idiots tanked a whole year only to have NO PLAN B when Melo, who we didn't even hear a single thing about being a Laker till this summer, doesn't come? Really? We banked on Melo coming and plan B was getting Jeremy Lin to boost ratings?

Shameful, absolutely shameful. I take no more pleasure in the Heat fans taking a colossal L. I'm done laughing at other teams, we look poised to be garbage for a DECADE.

@GreatestLaker was right all along about this insufferable idiot Mitch. I mean how can Lin be your plan B? That is beyond me. I was hoping and thinking they would work out something with Ariza, Stephenson and maybe some of the other low key players to build a 2009 type of team but this right here is absolutely breathtaking.

It's terribly obvious we need new ownership. At the very least, the buss family needs to fall the fukk back and hire the best professionals that money can buy. But mitch still being around is a product of jim as far as I'm concerned. As long as that idiot runs our basketball operations and mitchell is doing more than being a numbers guy we'll be fukked. smfh, to think all this stone face idiot used to do is work out cap figures for Logo now he callin shots. The Ariza trade prolly the only thing I can give him credit for, we all know Logo threw us gasol out of love for Kobe and GOAT franchise.

Yall need to get like me before the pain get worse. Build yourself a wall of apathy and stop giving a fukk, shyt's only gon get realer.

Exactly breh.

I did all that talking a few pages back, trying to uplift #LWO's morale......but I was wrong. Our front office REALLY IS fukked up:snoop:

Jeremy Lin is who we wind up with for our "big 2014 plan":what:

This cant be life brehs:wow:

Kobe's contract is not making the FO trade for Lin or making free agents uninterested. Its the fact we have NO plan and just trying to convince people to go to LA for off the court stuff:mindblown:

It's been life for awhile when you think about it. We really gotta thank Logo for that last run, makes it all the more disgusting Doc choose his idiot son over this Laker god. Him and Kobe are the sole reason the GOAT franchise didn't fall off sooner. It's blasphemy to say this, but Kobe woulda been better off on the spurs at least he woulda got the consistency in the front office to match his consistency on the court plus pop woulda been able to tame Psycho Bean and focus him instead of Phil's mind games and manipulation.

Hopefully the influential ticket holders start making noise and start the lynch mob to get the busses out of town. :tu:
