This. if he's KOBE then we're making the playoffs...but like u said are point guard situation is still![]()
better than last season. one thing Lin can do is create and get into the paint and I can see guys like Hill, Randle and Ed eating off that.

Why do we have to hire Byron Scott? Why can't we hire a young coach that will bring in new ideas or is it 4th time's the charm for Byron Scott?![]()

If Lakers can flip Nash + the 1st Round pick for an upside player with 1 or 2 years remaining on his deal this would be an ok offseason all things considered.
Hopefully we can turn that package into a wing player with some upside. Nash is a waste of roster space. Id trade his ass for a Landry Fields type at this point.
Never thought I'd say this, but do you go to Kobe and ask him "where you want to go" at this point?![]()

We didnt pay Jordan Hill 9 milly to bring him off the bench.
C Jordan Hill/Robert Sacre
PF Julius Randle/Ed Davis
SF Evan Turner/Xavier Henry
SG Kobe Bryant/Nick Young
PG Jeremy Lin/Steve Nash
With a healthy Kobe, we might sneak into the playoffs brehs like the homie @2Quik4UHoes said
Kobe knew what he was doing when he signed that contract. He is going down with the ship bruh.
Only team that would want him is Brooklyn damn near...
They Lakers Adee built so Kobe can chase the scoring record
But whose out there though? I see the crazy as LG fans talking about Nash, 1st and 2nd for Bledsoe or Rondo. But I just can't see that happening.
or HibbertWe aren't making the playoffs. That's over with. We need to worry about staying in the bottom 5 so that we don't end up losing our pick to Phoenix.wait....
1. Spurs
2. Clippers
3. Thunder
4. Portland
5. Houston
6. Dallas
7. Golden State
8. Memphis
9. Phoenix
10. Denver
11. Pelicans
12. Lakers
13. Kings
14. Utah
15. Minnesota (barring love trade).
I just don't see the Lakers being better than the teams above them.
Is Kendall Marshall still with the Lakers?

Yep....hes on the SL team too.
I agree, I don't think he believes this tide will turn and he might as well get his money, but as a basketball fan and what the Lakers mean to the game, I thought that was a bit selfish of his part regardless of what's going on in management. And Kobe takes some blame too, because his rep over the years as being difficult to play with has now come back to bite him in the ass cus nobody wants to come there.
I can see the Nets too, I can see the CLIPPERS, and even the Knicks trying to acquire him. But, definitely the Clippers
