We have a lot of power forwards and a lot of point guards.

HowardBeck: Source strongly suggested a few days ago that LAL planned to tank, to avoid sending pick to Phx. Not sure if Boozer claim proves/disproves

lol, Jeremy Lin is the biggest winner today. I was watching Randle and no way he could be a PnR PF. He sets the worst screens ever and he doesn't like to move without the ball then they get Boozer. This sounds like it has Kobe all over it. While the Lakers want to tank, Kobe doesn't.

Now Lin gets one of the best PnR PF's in the NBA to run with. :damn: Lin won with this.

Davis Hill and Boozer are basically interchangeable at the 4/5 spots. Love that versatility and willingness to rebound between. Rim protection may be an issue but they are a capable group offensively and should compete every night. I like them in the rotation.

We just need a wing player to compliment Kobe and Young. Definitely not world beaters but if Kobe is healthy they can be in the playoff mix. Interesting shape up of the roster. Hopefully Ryan Kelly can stay in the fold. They can use his shooting. Hummer Fredette would probably be a nice fit as well.

If they can package Nash and Kelly and/or another player along with that 1st pick for a SF then the Lakers may be alright. That hole at SF is huge.

Jabari A. Davis ✔ @JabariDavisNBA
If anything, the Booz signing points to LAL's FO moving back into the "stack assets to eventually move" mentality it won with for years.

Nothing against CB or any other deal, but packaging expiring deals w/future picks is actually how LAL has been most effective for years.

Lol we are not tanking. Unless the lakers management intend to take a crossbar to kobe's knees no way do we end up with a worse record than last year.
