Mitch built a championship team around Kobe from scratch after Shaq left. I'm just not going to hate on that just because we are rebuilding. This is my 3rd rebuild so excuse me if I'm not looking for the nearest cliff. Like I said above Mitch is going to have prove himself all over again...but according to you and others on here he's never proven himself before

mitch has some huge flaws breh. It's partly his inaction that's caused all these rebuilds. A truly great GM woulda had the foresight to sell high on Gasol, or get more for Shaq, or not sell off draft picks, or understanding the importance of youth and an impactful bench. mitch just goes for box office names, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and when you really look back aside from Ariza/S. Breezy it was usually somebody else that brought in the impact players. mitch ain't all that....

mitch got fleeced by Miami with the shaq trade
it is known that Jim buss got Bynum
The gasol trade was a fluke but mitch still gave away fat gasol. He had no idea that fat gasol was gonna be as good or better than the soft brother.
He still has not recovered from Luke Walton's 10 year contract

Hindsight is 20/20. You can do that with every GM. All I know is Mitch built a 2 time championship team. Very few GMs can say that. We'll see if he can rebuild the Lakers again.

Not even billy king would have traded Caron Butler for Kwame fukking BRown and Laron Profit
dont even think he had to include Marc in the Kwame for Gasol trade. Paid Luke Walton like he was a championship piece. Let Riley punk him into not insisting for Wade in the Shaq trade. He took Brian Grant's contract b/c u know with Shaq gone, we needed a center

How long have you been a Laker fan?? The Lakers were back in the Finals after a 3 yr hiatus. Mitch built the team with Kobe/Luke/Cook leftover from the 04 Finals team.

We should at least admit that Kobe's prime wasn't maximized
They trade Bynum because they finally had realized that bynum wasn't a franchise player . That's the only reason why they traded him. They had an opportunity to get Melo(Denver) but said no b/c they didnt' want to trade bynum. Same Melo they were just trying to sign this off-season. shyt they lucky Bynum and his agent got greedy or we'd have been on the hook for a 5 year near max contract extensiongot rid of B Cook for the Game Freeza, had CP3 before basketball reasons and traded a injured Bynum for Howard. Mitch has proven his worth since Shaq left. Now he has to it all over again. That's the business of being a GM
