Just because a film has supernatural/fantasy elements, it doesn’t mean people suddenly become idiots. Even Dr Strange needed a password for the wifi.

IN A HORROR MOVIE?
I can suspend my disbelief in films at points, but when there’s major leaps in logic just to proceed the plot, that’s simply lazy writing.
Unless you were a producer, an extra on this film, or a family friend of said extra, the dikk defending you’re doing of this trash piece is bewildering.
Literally only on here is it divisive
Watched tonight. Enjoyable, but way too hard to suspend disbelief at the incompetence of law enforcement and media. This takes place in modern times and 17 kids going missing is feds and media on every corner. That surviving kid's house would have news vans parked outside 24/7.
I initially thought it was some kind of alien or biological thing taking control of the kids rather than old school witchcraft

Actor for the principal has been getting steady work. I’ve seen this guy in so many movies/shows over the last few years. Dude is the b list Pedro pascal out here.
That scene with the forks at the dinner table creeped me out. Poor dad with weak “what’s up axe man” smh had me sad af.
