Week day nights>>>Weekends
Going out to dinner or a nice live music spot with your lovely and not fighting crowds:whew:
The weekends are strictly for sleep and bullshytting with my lady(when she’s not at work)..
This. I hang out on Wednesdays after work or visit a strip club here and there. Even go out to eat breakfast or lunch with my lady. The weekend nights are too much a hassle.

Need to learn to hustle harder, wake up earlier and get grocery shopping done before work (or directly after), get dishes and clothes washed in that same time span. Saturday’s in my house are strictly for fun, when the baby gets here in March Sunday is reserved for family outings.

We have so many conveniences compared to people in the past that it's almost comical how people don't take advantage of them :mjlol:

If you are a shopper at Kroger, Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Costco etc...you can do the majority of your grocery shopping online and then pick up in store. If you are finicky about your meats, veggies etc...you can limit your trip down to one section of the store. Pick that up straight from work and boom right there that saves you AT LEAST one hour considering you don't have to make it a point to spend more time doing it on the weekend. Why NOT take advantage of that free convenience?

I think people really forget how much time was spent schooling/doing school related things. Your Monday-Friday has most likely been booked up for decades. :mjlol:

Only difference now is you (presumably) make your own money, or you can take off damn near any random day for any random reason, and you can make your own decisions. I couldn't even imagine going back. :wow:

I always tell dudes to have finances or career in check for bringing a child in this world.

Or a free babysitter
:wow:

But like other breh said in this thread. As u get older weeknights out are better than the weekend because thats all the crowds and premium prices on shyt. Going out to watch a game at a sports bar. Its also underrated to have a happy comfy home to relax and unwind. Only people who live in shyt holes want to be out or over your crib every time they free

If you have kids especially younger ones yes, weekend's can get very boring. Just try to stay busy as possible and enjoy the kids while they're little. Life does move fast tho have to balance shyt out somehow.

USE YOUR fukkING VACATION TIME!!! Stop wasting that shyt. It’s free money and time. And don’t wait for a week long vacation. Take 1 day off and make 3 day weekends. Do it around a holiday and make 4-5 days off, with only 1 day used. You can give yourself 1-2, 3 day vacations a month, and only use 24 days a year.
Man this is the TRUTH. I've had a bad habit of this. It was getting to a point where my wife would be like "ask him how much vacation time he has" and the response I'd get would be a mix of :dwillhuh::martin::what::beli::bryan:

I literally just went in and scheduled blocks of time off at random points in random months for the rest of the year. Next year I plan to just be sporadic with time off outside of known vacations/trips. It does so much for you spiritually and mentally to just walk away from work.

It’s the main reason people feel overworked. Most job sites give two weeks of vacation/sick time. Some give more.

But still, Americans don’t use it. They scared of work overload when they leave, scared to have the boss fill their spots, scared cause “but what if I get sick and need it”

Bump that. You NEED time away from work. That’s straight up science facts. You need a break and to unwind. People fought for that time off law. Not so you can feel bad about using it and still work as if you never had it

If you can’t stay up on a Friday, or get things done during the week. If you can’t even enjoy a weekend... you definitely need an extra day off

Yeah man it’s rough. But you gotta drink that cup of cafe bustelo espressos after work and do what you need to do Friday night. Can’t let any form of employment stop you from having a robust social life and love life.

I get home around 5:30 on Friday, drink my espresso do my cardio at around 7, then shower up and get my ass ready for whatever I got planned for the night lol regardless if it’s some b.s with my coworkers or something the homies invite me to, idc I’m going out! Not passing up a opportunity to network, build my social circle and get at these hoes maneeee lol
:salute: that cafe bustelo and the whole post in general
