I said I'd eat before I came, which is what I usually do anyway cause I don't like to rely on others. Also, he was ordering from an Italian spot across the street, he wasn't cooking anything.

I'm saying that if you are going to be a HOST you gotta make sure everyone you inviting is taken care of. Asking me if I'm cool with picking sausage out of a dish is some fukkboy shyt.

And not eating red meat or pork is far from being "fussy." I'm sure there's shyt you don't eat so what's the big deal.

Good point...one girl I dated didn't eat onions cuz she was allergic and she was a finicky eater. But what I did was omit onions when I made shyt like turkey wings, meatloaf, baked chicken dishes, etc. Its not hard...even tho I love onions. Ur right people need to learn to accommodate and take care of those u invite over...its a social skill and a sign of being a good host.

No disrespect, but why are you taking it personal? I could see if you were buddy buddy with these people, but if you already deal with them with suspicion, then it should not surprise you that they are not reliable and dependable.

You go to work to sustain yourself, first and foremost! You don't go to work to socialize, party and bullshyt. For the record, I understand the need to have a civil working relationship where politicking is necessary in order to peacefully co-exist with people in the workplace, however, I know to not expect too much from people at work. It is a competitive environment where people can be cut throat.

Develop a thicker skin, pick and choose your battles wisely and be sure to handle your work business. Doing that will make your work life much easier.
