Curry is the favorite right now even though statistically, last season was better than this one. Warriors are just whipping ass right now so he's leading the race.

Harden and Westbrook should really be leading the conversation. Harden hasn't had D-12 for a good chunk of the year and if OKC somehow cracks top 5 in the West and :russ: is continuing to play at the level he's at (not to mention they didn't have KD for a good amount of games) I don't see why he shouldn't win it.

Curry will, though. Barring an epic collapse, it's going to the best team's best player. That's Steph.

Act like OKC hasnt had the injury bug and their best two players bitten the worst:what:

He not winning MVP,but I said he should be considered, you know damn well OKC would have been #1 or 2 seed had they been 100% healthy:stopitslime:

"Oklahoma City has won five of the past six games it has played without Durant. In those games, Westbrook is averaging 30.3 points, 9.3 assists and 6.7 rebounds while shooting 48 percent."

Even his biggest fans cant say they seen this,Russ might be the only person who seen this coming,Presti prolly thought he would be solid but no way he could ever have thought he'd be a flat out beast and the top pg in the league

i've stanning for Westbrook since 2009, I saw this coming and I defended this guy for years when the hate was flat out ridiculous. he was a top scorer that had playmaking potential and played with 100% effort on every play, it was hard to imagine him not just continuously getting better just from the amount of work he puts in.

@SchoolboyC knows. all that stanning and defending just keeps paying off as the years go by. :mjcry:

Not enough wins or games played for that matter

I'm beginning to question this a little.

Westbrook played 43 of 56 games OKC has played. How many games does he need to play to be considered? Especially if San Antonio and LAC keeps falling and they end up in the 4-6 race by the end of the season:patrice:

Westbrook's biggest problem is overall consistency. When he's on, he's the best PG in the league and unstoppable. Putting up numbers that are absurd for a game or two and it makes you forgot about his string of bad games like that 14 game stretch I. January where he shot 37% and had 4 TOV a game.

Curry and Harden deserve MVP over him.

Wrong.

1) Westbrook
2) James

That's where it ends. You Harden dikk suckers are getting annoying :camby:

Westbrook

26.2 PPG (53% TS) / 7.8 AST (3.9 TOV) / 6.3 REB

That's VERY INEFFICIENT.

Curry

23.6 PPG (62% TS) / 7.9 AST (3.1 TOV) / 4.7 REB

Westbrook scores slightly more points on WAY lower efficiency while averaging less assists and more turnovers plus Curry's been doing it for like 10 more games.

Hell no. Westbrook isn't playong better than Curry over the entire season

This stat geek :heh: You realize stats aren't the end all factor of who is better right?

:umad:

Posting better stats, over a longer period of time, and leading your team to a better offense equal better player.

:umad:

Come up with some BS like heart, motor, and intensify as if those things outweigh results

:umad:

You prolly think AI is better than Wade and Lebron too

It must be interesting living in your own little world :heh:

Back to reality, the MVP race is between Curry (odds-on favorite), Harden (runner-up) and Lebron (darkhorse if Cavs finish top 2 in East)

Players on 8 seed teams are not considered. The end :umad:
