Few dope joints on this but yall are putting A WHOLE LOT of extra sauce on this. Best thing I can say about this overall is WSG is actually writing verses again
Did he ever not write? Legit question. I know Conway brags about not writing.

I have to be in a fairly specific mood to listen to WSG but I think it's a testament to his creativity that so many different people have entirely different lists of what they consider his best work. You've got cats like @Monoblock @aceboon @PlayerNinety_Nine and myself that think this is some of his better work, and then you've got people that aren't feeling this project very much. I think that's actually a good sign for an artist if they have enough variety to have different people prefer different parts of their catalogue.

A Hitler wears Hermes series best of would be bananas

Anybody knows how many parts of the Series he plans to drop in total?

He says he's going to stop rapping after next year. Take that for what it's worth. I rarely put stock in rappers retiring, but if you take him at face value then he would drop one more next Halloween to end the series at 8.

Great mix of hardcore street shyt and dustiness but a lot of the best songs are entirely too short, however I do prefer the features on here more than the features on Awesome God.

There wasn’t any one song I didn’t like but I didn’t like the fact that half of my favorite songs were pretty much snippets if you go by the length.

I’d give it an 8 maybe 8.5 right now but it may go higher though

Was supposed to stop at 5, he's dropped 2 more since
:ohhh:Now I get why he dropped that Hitler's Dead project, which was just all the songs of 1-5 on one big playlist.

Also this just confirms my suspicion that he won't stop rapping after next year.

Not to mention that putting a time cap on artistic endeavors is silly. I get it with athletic stuff. But creative people "retiring" just seems corny, attention-seeking, and gimmicky to me.
:yeshrug:
If you want to stop then just stop. If you want to come back then come back. Jay is the only person to almost pull it off, because at least he actually stayed gone for a good 3 or 4 years.

:jbhmm:.....:leon:....I guess I've gotta start thinking of Green :antern was one of the most consistent producers to come out of the 00's.

I always thought of him more as a DJ, but he's always done beats. But since he usually never does more than a few beats per year, and as far as I know has never produced an entire album, I've never thought of him as a "producer." But he's been rocking slowly but surely since Champ is Here by Jadakiss (the first beat I can think of from him) I can't think of any big misfires or duds from him.

Undertaker vs Goldberg (particularly the 2nd beat) is solid.

Ok please fukking stop with this hyperbole :beli:
You just made a highly uninformed Hip Hop post in this thread, trying to sound cool / smart

Notice how my post about Gunn as New age RZA had daps yours did not.

Gunn is the visionary of the group, street wear designer, rapper, and record label owner. Inked new deals for his artist and label with multiple labels.

The parallels with RZA is obvious.
