She was a token to get the black vote. Just like in corporate America when black people are hired they aren't given substantive work.

Nah she wasn't a token. Biden was legit setting her up for her own presidential run. If you look back at old press conferences he was constantly with the “Kamala and I” had her right behind him on camera and everything. He was trying to do for her what Obama did for him.

When her team started leaking that Biden was setting her up to fail (when she was fukking up simple lob pass interviews) it was a wrap. You wont see her until Bidens done

the only black women that was championing her was the ones that are middle to upper class blacks that just wanted symbolism. She couldn't win her own state

On the other hand, it's smart for her not to tether herself to Biden strongly because this is will be viewed as a disastrous admin.

It's too late for that. She's directly tied to this admin. She can't separate herself from it while campaigning for future presidency.
