Nixon was President while Eisenhower golfed all day with the occasional heart attack sprinkled in. Biden ran foreign relations and was in charge of the 09 economic recovery. Mondale wouldn’t even consider being Carter VP if he didn’t have a significant role especially since Carter was an outsider. Bush Sr also played a huge role since all accounts were that Regan was basically senile after his assassination attempts. Guys like him and Biden were bridges for Presidents who were inexperienced/didn’t want to deal with nuances of Congress. Biden is barely functional which just shows you how much Harris sucks. The WH has very little faith in her and the things she’s been tasked with she’s fukked up badly.
