I mean, I get it 'fell off' or w/e, but the way people pile on it is ridiculous. shyt was depressing reading the final arc (which I mostly enjoyed) and you couldn't even have discussions on it without people hating. The hate levels are overkill. Especially now that it has been over for like a year. Gotdamn. We get it. Just let the damn manga rest in peace.

yay. lead character is brilliant, concepts regarding history and time travel are compelling and well explored. builds up to a climax where the tone shifts 180 and maintains that level of tension for a dozen episodes

Final arc just wasn't good seeing that dude turn into KFC and taking forever to die was absurd

I feel like Bleach up until the Aizen arc finished was acceptable. Wasn't the GOAT but wasn't bad either. After Aizen complete and utter garbage. They could have and should have ended it at Aizen. It started going off the rails after SS but the hueco mundo parts were still entertaining.

Its deep. Little stuff I never caught before is popping up all over the place now that I'm a bit older and smarter. Even the fukking national anthem has levels to it

one scene really early on:

"why aren't the neighbors doing anything?"
"the freedom to not get involved is perhaps the most valuable freedom we have in this country"

my 19 year old self never would've caught this.

how they're painting this audiocracy v democracy generational war on multiple levels is nothing short of amazing. they don't make shyt like this anymore
