Anime is mostly just a commercial for other material. Usually light novels and manga. They use anime to boost the sales. There are some anime original series but they're few and far between.

For a faithful adaption the new Blade of the Immortal anime series sure is skipping some s*** that said I like the direction of it. The manji execution panels adapted well, the whole style of the anime is like Death Frenzy.​

It's out? Death Frenzy was one of the rawest anime I've ever seen (finished the manga and Jesus I wish they would have finished the animation) so anything close to it animation style wise I must see it
