Ones with actual story telling. Not just an excuse to have fights which a lot of stuff seems to be these days. I'm watching hero mask now. I like the story so far. A lot of intrigue.

probably the latter. but I think that says more about how good those fights are, than it does about the story lacking for a shounen.

I need good reasons to watch a fight now adays. Stuff needs to be earned. I'll watch it after I rewatch. Voltron.

might find that reason in episode one, much of which has no fighting. the initial hook for me was the relationship between the MC and his ailing grandfather, that more or less motivates the MC to establish goals/responsibilities that will dictate his actions for the rest of the series.

To expound JJK have a balance of good plot and creative fights with weight to em. nikkas not just pulling up to pull up there is a reason for every encounter.

The anime is still early in the series sohh they not just gonna dump lore on you off rip.

For a comparison it's more in line of a contemporary Yu Yu Hakusho and HxH.
