Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

Been getting into sports anime lately. Mostly cause they don’t require a lot of investment and attention span so I can watch them while I’m working

Only thing they have in common is soccer. Blue Lock is more entertaining and is legit a battle royale essentially disguised as a soccer anime.

Ao Ashi is more what you expect out of a coming up story. Both have their own lanes on how they thrive. Characters as a group are really fukking good in Ao Ashi. It’s only con is that put us more for a soccer purist then a casual soccer fan. Which I assume most anime fans are the later.

It’s worth noting Blue Lock has a much better production and budget which helps it a lot in anime form.

They don’t need to have more in common outside of both being sports anime with soccer as it’s foundation, for me to deem one better than the other. Blue Lock has much better animation and art direction

I’m a big soccer fan by the way. My only posts in the coliseum are in soccer, nba and tennis threads

I have watched all bleach episodes of the new season will watch no 5 today. Its been really good, not really feeling that op power that allows the quincy to steal the captains bankais
Any brehs can recommend any solid new animes? I like action and suspense not romance and comedy stuff. I liked physcopass and parasite

The disappointment killed me

Banter with the party is fukking great. Also Aki's backstory was done well. It was short and but it did everything it needed to do without spending too much time. Lots of anime would have made that its on episode. So good they gave us what we needed to know. Himeno is a great addition.

But damn Makima got Denji where she wants him. She knows all the right buttons to push with him.

Yeah Hawkeye kept him in line. They still had some comedic aspects dealing with this during the Lust fight too

the main arcs are worth watching for the music itself, and I think there's going to be some major changes to the current arc. That said I believe the colored Bleach volumes are the ultimate experience
