But I also understand every good action manga wanting Mappa to do their shyt, they gonna shave years off their staff's lifespans working like this tho.


Hopefully once they finally get Attack On Titan finished they'll be rested and can give more love to Hells Paradise and get it up to standards.

Imo it more lies to production issues then milking. No point in having recap episodes if they were milking it like AoT. This could be a scenario where the end product is good, but behind the scenes its a disaster with deadlines and shyt. Rewatching S1 the animation easily beats anything that isn't Demon Slayer.

The one positive is that this series of recaps is between the arcs so I do think that makes watching weekly much better then compared to Gundam and 86 when it had their delays beause those delays really blue balled you.

S1 covered 60 chapters in 24 episodes. And Shiibuya is extremely fight centric and don't recall many flashbacks that would be annoying so it is possible imo.

It could adapt 55 chapters in 18 episodes.
