Show really lost sight of what it was supposed to be, like what is going on and what is even the point?
Ninjas in loud mech suits (because they boost your ninjutsu)...that also need to charge...out hoarding all powerful techniques they don't use...because they're in these dumb suits! I can't even get a sense of power rankings because the skills are consistent and the fights happen and end just because.
I keep watching hoping it will turn itself around and get closer to the feeling of ep 1 but it continues to disappoint.

Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included is like a generic version of someone taking The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten literally but moving the Angel in full time. The show is just stumbling through romcom cliche after cliche.

Mysterious Disappearances Episode 2
As a follow-up from episode you do feel bad for Ogawa throughout her life she put her heart and soul in her writing. Granted in that business you need to go through people that will criticize your work, I get the sense those people ended up being over critical perhaps?
We get our first episode focused on Oto. You can tell she is attached to Ren, and it is revealed she is not from this world. But obviously Ren is, but does Ren not seek to go back to his world?
Ogawa and Oto are working together to infiltrate the school. Ogawa being stuck in the bathroom waiting was not what she thought would happen. But it was a nice moment when Ota was scared for a moment for Ogawa to tell her that she has her back. Regardless whether what age Ota is, she is a kid.
The big name-drop the school has no bullies. And there is an issue that was the burning symptoms show, coming back to school will cause them to come back. Then we have Manama-Sensei being super against bullying, asking Ogawa if she was bullied.
I really feel like sensei has a big thing against bullying. She is being extreme about it, but attacking and traumatizing the bully is obviously not the solution. I am guessing the chant causes the person to collapse and drool. Does Sensei licking the saliva, give her the ability to cause the burning condition to those of the saliva she licked? That being the condition why the symptoms come back when they are at school? Really interesting.

Dungeon Meshi Episode 16
Amazing episode on all the fronts that make this series special. And my front-runner for AOTS.
First we have the element of Dungeon Learners introduced, which is a real cleaver piece of world building in this episode. Basically they repair the dungeon, but obviously like most things it needs time to be fixed. Laios getting to try what it tastes definitely like is definitely a Dungeon Meshi moment.
Now we got our 3 big groups together and well the issue of Laios and Senshi freaking out the other groups is a very real fear for Chilchuck. But he should have gone to Laios. Senshi and Maizuru work well together. To be fair Senshi can adapt to anybody honestly. From Maizuru to the odd monster eating Laios. Easily my favorite character in this series.
Also, holy damn Laios giving great advice to Shuro in the matter that food and sleep isn't something you do when you have time. You need to make sure they are a priority, after all they are necessities to function. Honestly Kabru might be the most interesting character at this point. It's hard to get a solid read on him. But damn Laios really opened up to him regarding eating monsters.
Shuro giving us information that basically black magic is a serious crime. While that is true, Laios should explain it better that black magic was the only way they could have saved Falin. But damn eternal imprisonment is harsh. Holy fukk Fallin is becoming more like a monster and is basically the Red Dragon personality wise at this point. Poor girl she didn't deserve this.
