I’m trying to get into Shangri La Frontier and it’s just not hitting. So hard to get into this after watching Solo leveling

It goes for a different thing then Solo Leveling. Solo Leveling is basically battle shounen meets power fantasy.
SLF is great because of the personality of the cast and how true to the point it is as an MMO anime. Which is something most VR MMO anime miss. It’s more of an action-adventure anime if I had to put the label on.
If you are looking for a Solo Leveling replacement Wind Breaker is a better option.

damn if you just started it and its not hitting then it might not be for you cuz I thought the 1st season started out hard.
now if this was the 2nd season, I'd say hang in there cuz its gonna get epic.
but like triple said, you might like Windbreaker which easily has some of the best hand to hand martial arts animation in the game.

Having watched the prescreening. I find it out they but the start of the 2nd half first. But it seems dope, but newbies need to pay attention to the next 2 episodes or they're going to be confused af.

cast forgettable as hellImo SLF is a filler show you watch during drought season, not a top tier series worth debating about
finished the season not giving a damn if they coming back with another one. They can animate until their hands turn purple and fall off, the story and dialogue is mid.
