Fire Force, Old Country Bumpkin, and Yaiba all had their best episodes of the season so far this week.

Got damn so much piff. :ohlawd:

OCB was the biggest surprise. I didn't think it would turn violent and nikkas would start getting murked left and right. Hell, even the animation got better. Felt like I was almost watching a different show. This shyt definitely getting slept on. Got damn boss fight was hard af.

This nikka GodEye
Did all that shyt to expose Nice/Moon, succeeded in doing it and really got fukked up by a nikkaa with NO fans and made a nikka stronger than Nice :dead:

I guess in the end he won though, he just wanted to expose the truth and succeeded. Seems like a Joker/Chaos type dude

This :russ: people are seriously sleeping because of the art style, this show is heatrocks and the drawbacks to these nikkas powers is always some shyt I didn't even consider

nikka had to tie a bed to his back and sleep standing up :laff: I'd be PISSED
Yea, then the fan shyt makes for interesting dilemmas too. Like Firm and that statue. When I first saw the scene I thought:
"Damn, breh cold as hell, just wanted to save that funky ass statue :francis: "
Then I thought "Oh shyt, he saving the statue because that's a symbol of his powers and if fans see that break, that will break their belief in him :ohhh: :
Then after firm's background and Nice/Lin not being able to save Moon at first I realized Firm probably did want to save the girl but he couldnt because a lot more fans wanted him to save the statue instead of the girl. :snoop:

I fukk with how they doing the brehs on this too(havent seen FF yet). IronFist powers sounded cool as hell but GodEye made quick work of that nikka.

Hero X continues to be amazing idk what to say anymore

My nikka E-Soul dapping all these kids up and giving em black people afros :russ:

real E-soul salty as fukk, it's gotta be them who set up ole boy getting shot, but he's being a bullshyt hero anyway, nikka spending more energy tryna sell action figures or whatever the fukk he did that press conference for. meanwhile my son Yang out in the streets putting foot to ass

Loser Ranger was fire today :wow: that reveal was unexpected, Green Keeper cold af

this show is super conflicting because FighterD still wants to kill everyone on both sides so even tho you rooting for them at the moment you can't lose sight of his real goal, he almost crashed out but it wouldn't have gone well for him at all :mjlol: he got super lucky in that first season against Blue Keeper, Green seems like he's NEVER lacking, makes sense since he runs the Stealth/Intelligence department

also fukk all them students being upset :camby: woulda left they asses there if we didn't have to mop up a Boss Monster

Tho this shot at the end was wholesome af :mjcry:

Kenta knows how to craft comedy, wholesomeness and despair so fluently. Makes sense considering who his sensei is.

Damn Meg was extra this week. Comedy works better than if she was a guy or even an older guy. She truly is the Ojjisan and also degenerate witch.

Our first introduction to Chloe the Witch of Words. She is probably the most interesting witch so far because she is half human and half spirit. We haven't dug into spirits too much. Kind of a neat thing to tie into. Making a double for her makes sense, but it is funny how it is the opposite of her. Well outside of personality. Much like with Sophie, she really jells well with Meg. Got to love how much she adores Faust, but she is probably older than her.

Also, Eldora the Disaster Witch. She obviously holds a different vibe with the Witch. It might just be the strongest of the Seven Sages. Furthermore, she has taken a notice of Meg and her curse. Her mention of when she loses the curse she loses something irreplaceable. I think it would have to be something more than magic. My biggest fear it's having to do with Faust, who has meant the world to Meg. I hope I am wrong.

Though Eldora's uses in curses givens a bad vibes. There is a whole plan to allow the Earth to have an artificial magic core. Basically, too much magic leaking has created disasters. This is something I expect to be an important detail to keep watching.

@LauderdaleBoss

You got to give Apocalypse Hotel a chance. The comedy's writing and directing is top-notch. Also, the writing is superb as well. How it handles different themes in the most subtle way is really good. Def a sleeper that I could see many people miss.

Also the animation is very good like in today's episode.

Honestly, the more I watch Wind Breaker it more and more feels like a Slice of Life series with a Delinquents theme then a battle shounen. :patrice:
everything people complained about first season :mjlol: The second ole boy had a whole kingdom hearts flashback sequence at the end of the first big gang fight the writing was on the wall for this show

Them boys in Tokyo Revengers got way more heart and relatable perspective, these Windbreaker nikkas just coasting by on animation/choreography with some of the weakest writing of the season

I think it runs into a similar problem as MHA. Where the slice of elements just don't hold the weight that it should considering it plays a big portion of the series. A lot of the stuff has been about Sakura finding a place to fit in, which is fine, but it has been very repetitive regarding that. Hell I heard from manga readers we don't even got his full story of where he comes from yet, which is bizarre given looking up online there are 21 Volumes. Looking it up, S1 only covered the first 4 volumes.

A delinquent series needs a proper antagonist and so far, there isn't one. Maybe it comes at the end of this season, but the threat to the group is non-existent. Basically, there is no tension. (I think this is what you mentioned before) I thought Togame was cool, but the whole Ume & Chouji fight was just so weird. Ultimately, the show has an identity crisis at this point.
