Super Cube unintentionally hilarious today :russ: she beat the shyt outta them people thinking they had leverage to negotiate.

The way that upgrade happened was pretty cool, but I'm wondering how vulnerable he is when he talks to the system because on the outside it's literally just a cube, I guess with teleportation he can always save himself

Ximen is a wild name :dame: but I'm glad they showing these other people getting some budget

That preview for next week looks :ohlawd:

Benimaru with the real 1 vs. 20 :wow: it's crazy that he's that strong

Dragon is fukking dope tho I can't lie :whew: low-key rooting for this man to erase some of the cast in casual overkill fashion

Apocalypse Hotel is the best thing this season.

Old Country Bumpkin and Windbreakers (even with all the Ranma 1/2/"Agenda" stuff popping off) are prolly my #2 and #3.

MHA Vigilantes is right there on the edge..

But Your Forma, Moonrise, Lazarus - all had a lot of promise and then nothing.

I'm still holding out hope for Kowloon, but that show is more bizarre than anything. 6 episodes of pump faking a mystery or nah?
I always wonder if there's something deeply cultural about how they tell stories in Anime that I'm just not picking up on. In Japanese film, there's usually a "breather" scene that the film critics say don't really appear in Western Films... Prolly some cat wrote a disseration on Anime storytelling and the interface with Western Audiences....

And then I'm watching all the fantasy/bs/trash shoes - Gorilla God Girl, Beginning after the End, Witch's Death, Unaware Atelier Master, Intergalatic Evil Lord, Healer, Left my A-Rank Party, Too Perfect Saint, The one with ogre/oni and the witch, Teogonia...

Thank God for WFH
Man Your Forma pisses me off. That shyt apparently started adapting on the 2nd volume of the Novel. It's like who is behind some of these decisions :snoop:

I haven't watched Kowloon after episode 1, but read a good portion of the manga. It's actually really neat how it dives into the mystery of the Kowloon. I think the build up is very good, but it is very much meant to be really subtle and a slow burn. So I just have a hard time seeing how the anime can nail that aspect adapting a volume per episode. Though if they skip the subtle stuff it could work maybe?

Witches's Death and Saint anime is what I do like from the reamining of those.

Upon Witch Death has really solid writing. Not quite like Sword of Demon Hunter, Apothecary or Shoshimin, but it hits on themes pretty solidly. Tho Meg acting like a perverted Ojjisan character has me rolling at times :deadrose:

Mia from the Saints anime actually is a really good deconstruction of the siscon troupe. It vies her good characterization that the majority of the type don't have. Show is a lot better after episode 1. My god that episode was a struggle to get through :snoop: Kind of cool to see how different the two kingdoms are in contrast. Though I don't blame anyone for dropping this at episode 1 that episode was awful.

I'm just hoping the animators eat better off them American Dollars...I consider projects like these "back pay".
If I recall, this is one anime mappa finished early. Feels like the only time we hear horror stories from Mappa is when it has to do with JJK.

How did yall like the Tokyo Ghoul anime? I really liked it when I saw it years ago. I had no idea it was based on a manga til years later. Reading on reddit about it and the drama I see why like that middle season seemed so random. Apparently the anime did a bunch of made up shyt that barely followed the manga. Then the 3rd season like ignored the shyt in the 2nd season and was like a followup to the first season :francis:

I sat down and watched it last year after losing track of watching the show several years ago. The first season is good, but I do see why people felt the way they did with season 2 and 3.

This Black Butler episode :damn: :mjcry:

Execution on twist was so good, but Sullivan didn't deserve that.

I have seen enough of the happy flash forward to know what Sullivan imagined wasn't going to happen. But my god, the plot twist here was executed so well, and I feel so bad for Sullivan. Her entire life was a lie. Everyone manipulated her for their on goals. We did see things like those women pressuring Wolfram and Wolfram feeling uncomfortable

Me first saw that the talismans are actually tracking devices. So while it was mentioned that they would deter Werewolves, in reality it was because the werewolves would know who was from the village. Then to add the werewolves were just human and the miasma they wanted wasn't magic. The fact that Wolfram looked so much like a werewolves added to this.

God, I feel so bad for Sullivan. She was manipulated for her whole life and sacrificed her youth for all of this. Adding the point of cutting off her legs was meant to make her depend on Wolfram.

This fight between the E-Souls is hype :damn: gladiator type shyt in front of everyone

The marketing plays never end :banderas:the build up to that final clash was on point

I knew it was this nikka making all the plays :martin: that ending is still ambiguous as fukk since people can literally morph into one another using trust value :lupe: 10/10 episode.

They literally showed us the origin story for Darth Vader even down to losing a limb fighting senpai.

If all of the top 10 are gonna have 3-4 episodes of S-tier origin stories like these first two :whoo: the replay value on this first season is gonna be off the charts.

I had no idea this was the same writer as Link Click :ohhh: no wonder this shyt hittin

Old Country Bumpkin is giving me Sakamoto vibes :dead: he's everyone's OG

Every room he walks in is ran by one of his youngboys :umad: whole city in his pocket lowkey

Edit: I'm caught up and I'm convinced most people enjoy well animated mid more than any other form of anime, plot is basic as hell and the characters aren't worth remembering forreal

If nikkas aren't  ing done to him for being their master they're hitting the surprised :wtf: face when he low diff's them, that's it

:russell: good for filler days but this one ain't worth dying on a hill for

Man these two sociopaths are made for each other :deadrose:

The interesting thing about this arc is that the Arsonist case wasn't critical, but rather the things surrounding it. As the logic Kobato used to determine it was Hiya was very straightforward. Even he was out for Urino.

Meanwhile, on Kobato's side I love Osanai's reaction to his update to his breakup. She couldn't handle multiple relationships at the same time and since I didn't notice is she got angry like I was a failure of a human being. Just the way he says she was juggling multiple relationships and that is normal. Just loved how Osanai said that would make you a failure of a human being. Doubt Kobato noticed how she worded it.

Meanwhile, for Osanai there was one angle that I didn't realize until Kobato mentioned it. Osanai intended to bait Urino to falsely accuse her. Essentially, she wanted revenge on him and the reason of was he tried forcing a kiss a few episodes back. Really shows that Osanai can be your biggest friend one day and your enemy the next. Though she has every right to upset for Urino for trying to do that. She was genuinely trying to help him. Urino probably doesn't realize everything in actual context.

Osanai mentioning she hasn't changed, and we can say the same for Kobato. More so the point these two are meant to be together. More so Urino is too ordinary for Osanai and the same can be said with Nakamaru regarding Kobato. For Osanai and Kobato their abnormalness is what makes them understand each other.

It should be very interesting what comes next with these two.

Loser Ranger always has the craziest tension in these fights :wow: Chidori/Green Keeper saw through the whole thing, where do we go from here? Another ally?

Everyone has their own motives that completely disregard what side they're currently on :banderas:i can't think of too many shows that constantly remind you of how stressful being a spy is like this
