I was hoping Juuzou would be all right, but that is not the case here. Jinya might blame him for holding on to the human part of his heart, but that is more a good thing. For him to get on better terms with his father was one thing I loved. What Shirayuki says in the vision when Jinya is knocked out was so good, but so depressing. "We can't help prioritize how we live our lives over who we live them with." Essentially, we are each our own person. That is what makes us human. The sad part for Jinya there are people in our lives who will leave us. Jinya needs to push forward. Instead of emptying his humanity, more so embracing it. Even if there is pain.
Jinya having to kill his father is painful. In Jinya's family, demons just ruined them. Jinya's mother was raped by a demon, which gave birth to Suzune. The mother died giving birth to Suzune. Juuzou rejected Suzune, which lead to Jinya choosing her over his father. The incident in episode 1 caused Jinya turned into a demon. Finally, Juuzou, because of Suzune is now a demon.
Which now leads to Natsu. No doubt she is naive, but she lost her father. It saddens me that she hates Jinya now. Honestly, at this point I expect Jinya to protect Natsu by leaving her life. After all, unlike the rest of his family, getting away from demons might be the best thing for her. Still, I do hope Jinya is at least in contact with Zenji to make sure Natsu is doing ok. Granted, he might need to open up, which he might not be ready for.
Man coming from episode 1, we see Suzune using Shirayuki's body to make the sake. Though at least he can have a proper goodbye unlike in episode 1. Moving forward, it is a safe bet we should see Akitsu again. Ofuu offering words of advice and that is basically saying not to lose heart. More and more, we can clearly see how important she has been for him. Her words constantly give him the advice when he needs it most.
Not surprised Jinya & Suzune didn't meet as it felt too early. Meanwhile, Suzune says farewell to Shirayuki, but it is a much crueler goodbye than how Jinya said goodbye.
