I should've kept Clair Obscur in the backburner for september. What a fukking game :wow: would've kept me fed the whole month.

October we got Ghost of Yotei though :whew:

But yeah, I think I'ma finally start reading some stuff. Might even start CSM part 2 (finally) as well.

Maaaan, tell me about it. Romance and SoL are the only show I can watch with my girl weekly (she only watches dope shows when they are done, she can't stand waiting years for a new season or weekly viewing) and the amount of complete garbage I've had to sit through this year has been :why:

This season was actually a huge step up, the Flagrant Flower shyt is one of the most safe shows I've ever seen but it's so different from the usual bullshyt these romance do that it makes it worth sitting through it. And Dress Up Darling is refreshing for having a male MC that's worth a fukk and not a complete wimp, plus the animation is crazy good.

But breh, the previous two seasons were hilariously bad, I ruined a bunch of shows for her just by cracking jokes at how fukking awful/stupid they were :mjlol: I would've loved to that with Takopi as well but she didn't wanna watch it :mjcry:
It is definitely a very wholesome romance. Imo how safe it plays is part of a showcase on the author's weak writing skills because whenever the series tries to do drama, it is hysterically bad :mjlol: I wonder if you will catch on to how many times the series uses apologies as a crutch. It's good they communicate, at least compared to other series. The parents are GOAT in that series, though, which you don't get in many of these series :salute:

Also going on their subreddit, I swear with the memes they post there, it feels like the JJK fans migrated there after the manga ended :dead:

I mean, the whole premise of doing a Romeo & Juliet type of story just because there are two schools next to each other and one of them is girls-only + elitists is hilariously dumb :russ:

"We shouldn't be seen because you are from the other school. They'll think I'ma bad influence I'm so sorry :damn:" :dead:

But the fact that every stupid (and badly forced by writing) drama they encounter is quickly solved by just talking about stuff is a breath of fresh air compared to all the other nonsense these shows usually go for.

I couldn't make it past 30 minutes of the Boy and the Heron.

shyt was boring as fukk. :snoop:
What were you expecting with a Ghibli movie though? They usually don't do a lot of action cuts, and when they do it's usually an escape scene or a diety crashing out.

The first half is slow you literally didn't get to see any of the more interesting parts of the movie turning it off that quick :yeshrug: ain't shyt going on in that first half besides really good animation

Lord of Mysteries finale showing just how strong an unborn fetus of a god is, had them boys bleeding from everywhere and the whole city about to blow up:wow: cinema

RIP big boss Nightmare :whew: that shyt looked epic

Rip Klein :mjcry: left the family in shambles

But hello alter egos  the true fukkery of the story begins, if they didn't scare away anime-onlys this woulda been one of the bigger twists of the season, every identity has a completely different lifestyle so each arc damn near feel like a new story outside of the Tarot Club meetings

Ince Zangquill reveal :banderas: double entendre

Here we go again with the "Hey its not for you since its not nonstop action" routine ya'll nikkas address me with :mjlol:

Like something just can't be fukking BORING for 30 minutes straight to a nikka. :ohhh:

But to answere your question. I expect to be entertained when I watch something whether its, action, mystery, horror, drama, etc....

That's my bottomline and that shyt wasn't ENTERTAINING for a whole fukking 30 minutes.
For example...
I enjoy a good story when its told in a captivating way. A lot of nikkas in here bytched and moaned about the 2nd season of that Viking anime with the jit with the two daggers cuz it was less fighting than the first season, but the story was told in such a compelling way that when action did happen it was more impactful.

So yeah the next time I say something is boring, that means I wasn't entertained. Thank you. :salute:

I said nothing happened in the first half of the movie besides animation and that it didn't get interesting until the 2nd half, agreeing with you that nothing entertaining was going on:bryan: all I'm saying is you tapped out before it got entertaining nikka :mjlol: like I said most Ghibli movies the action is chase scenes so I wasn't suggesting any type of shounen shyt when I said that it started off slow. Don't even recognize your name/personality to have a routine for you nikka :dead:ptsd a mfer

Obviously boring means you weren't entertained those are interchangeable :skip: my question is what were you expecting? Most Ghibli movies start off slow minus Mononoke

Damn near everyone who watched this said it started off slow so nobody disagreeing with you, the second half is what sticks out in most people's minds more

My nikka you be confusing me with these nikka nerds that read manga and etc... :mjlol:

I don't be knowing who these studios or director names be so asking that question is pointless. :manny:

I watch everything with the expectation of being entertained, so yeah if shyt is boring than its boring my nikka.

Princess T'Aala is Luna's mother, and she left a good impression. It is interesting to note that Forge can detect if Luna is alive. Of course, what mother could abandon their child? Also liked how she mentions how Drel's actions are not hero-like. Makes me wonder of her impressions of Alicia. Also, the Hammer of Kings being something that counteracts Regalia is interesting to note.

Loved how Alicia & Klen were one step ahead of Naie and were using her to take them to Drel and Hiden. Though Drel calling Alicia's father the swordmaster is interesting. I am curious about her father's past. For Klen from episode 1 to now, it is clear he understands that a child can't choose where he is born. After all, Luna is a baby, and babies are dependent. Though Luna's destiny is clearly tied to being king eventually. I think what comes next is hard to say because Luna is definitely destined to be king, as being a Hiden with royal blood is a huge deal. The real key is the actions that Luna does as he grows older. I think the lesson, Klen, is that each individual is responsible for their own fate rather than their fate being responsible for our actions.

Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse - Episode 9

Holy fukk coming off the recent good plot twist, this one had me shook :damn: :damn: :damn:. I only wish the worldbuilding was better since it has been more then less nonexistent, but damn, this shyt is getting good.

Honestly, I feel if this was a light novel or manga source, it would have more hype. Though I do love how we are all blind to it. It's a shame for everyone who dropped, but NGL the start was a bit rough. Though it really seemed the anime was planned out well.

All the simping Takeru did for Tsukimiya was all being manipulated. Funny how a fair criticism is how much Takeru was simping. Like him blindly trusting her to destroy the towers was all her play.

The big thing in this episode it seems that Hareaki potentially has history with Takeru's ancestors, maybe? Though his comment was to safeguard humanity's future. Which, based on what we know with the story, Tsukimiya mentioned clearly something happened for them to be on the moon.

One thing that is clear is Tsukimiya's story contains some lies. But lies are more convincing when you add truths to them. So it all makes sense. More than likely she is the woman who killed everyone else on the moon. But what really is her story? However, her remark about him being the being that protects me has me curious what it actually means.
