This episode fully adapted chapter 22, most of 23, and some of 24.

• Love the music choice at the start as Hikaru is going back to his body.
• After Maki gives the exposition at school, the anime diverges with Hikaru & Yoshiki going back home. Though none of the dialogue is skipped, I'm pretty sure at the house we have some anime-original scenes.
• Takeda holding Hichi-san wasn't in the manga at this point. Not sure if this was added earlier from a future volume since I have only read up to volume 5.

Spoiler: The Summer Hikaru Died - Episode 10

Takeda sounds like a psychopath as he is laughing after Hikaru's head is chopped off. He is probably on "humanity's" side, but damn, I would be afraid of what he would do. Takeda mentioning he and his wife have a sigh of relief that his dad is gone is fukked up, even if he would cause trouble maybe.

Beyond that big information drop in this episode.

• Maki mentions there wasn't enough food, so they had to figure out a way to shrink the population. Here abortion is the thing. An offering to Unuki-san to get the abortion drug seems to be key.
• The reason that Kubitachi still believes in Nonuki-sama lies in the fact that they can't forget him because of their sins.
• That sin is the sacrifices they made with the disasters that they faced. Even weirder is when they ship out the other body parts minus the skull that I would assume they use.

Meanwhile, at the end, it is starting to look like "Hikaru" is losing control of himself.

That was insane how well done the animation and art style was. They legit made X one of the coldest characters because that left me speechless. I wish the episode was longer, but I understand why they left the last episodes with more questions than answers. I guarantee you there's a bunch of easter eggs throughout the season that you can find some interesting things that will appear in S2.

Overall: that was one of the most enjoyably first season for an Anime/Donghua. I highly recommend people to watch this show because I felt it exceeded expectations.

I had super low expectations the first few minutes of ep1 when the 3d was catching me off guard, show has done nothing but blow my mind since

Considering the original concept trailer was still canon and came out like 3 years ago

And how all of the PV's were also canon and showed us stuff that wasn't covered in season 1

Then looking at the ending/opening for season 2

Im VERY confident that season 2 is probably halfway if not almost done I have never seen an anime THIS prepared without any source material to trace from.

Vortex plane death flashback

wtf did FOMO do with Nice and is it connected to what X said about Zero never really dying because of believers, he looks like a vessel

The fallout from the tournament cuz ain't no WAY this goes down smoothly, I'm expecting Chunin Exams turning into an all out War level fukkery, with Hokage level characters dying or going rogue

What happened right after E-soul shot Moon, they showed Ghostblade pulling up immediately with smoke

this director might be the goat already, where did he come from and how was he not already known as a big deal

Dope seeing an anime on the big screen, when the music and hype moments kick in . I enjoy Demon Slayer, but not at the top for me.The inner kid in me could only imagine seeing Bleach on the big screen and hearing BANKAI!

That was A LOT to take in, and X using Ahu as a proxy of the audience, knowing damn well we wouldn't figure it out all at once. He ain't slick

Ghostblade gonna get murked by somebody, might do it while saving Johnny's life as a full circle redemption

Broken Nice taking E-Soul out of the tournament I didn't even know Nice was still getting Trust Value points

Like I said it looks like how JJK season 2 was set up

First half looks like a flashback of X and his original homies when he first got the power

Then it flashes forward to our current heroes with X fighting some blacked out chick (that was referenced on a TV queen during Queen's arc on the lowest of keys)

It was crazy seeing Lin Ling, Queen, cracked out Nice all fighting together with matching fits



Thinking about how fire JJK season 2 was this might actually be one of the top ways to format a story Geto/Gojo/Toji appearances all hit way harder in Shibuya because of it



At this point I fully trust whatever they wanna do
