Not as bleak as I thought it would be. Actually had a happy ending, well the last arc in the anime did, anyway. Now I have to figure out the rest by reading the manga.

F/Z is the best arc of the franchise. F/S UBW replaces the adults with impulsive teenagers and Saber goes from gender bender King Arthur to a weak damsel in distress. Didn't care for it although it has it's moments.
