The shyt that is annoying you will be fixed right around ep 4-5
I made it through just fine afterwards
What do you mean the same way you did and what is it that's so annoying in the first 3 episodes.

I just hate when writers from any medium force something stupid to happen in order to create a situation
Looking online i noticed a good bit of people got annoyed immediately by it in those first few eps as well
I liked it afterwards and even got caught up with the manga, but it was definitely hanging over the bushes

I liked it from out the gate. I didn't realize it was a slow burn for so many people.
started watching Penguindrum cause of brehs
it's..... bright and colorful. Reminds me of when Tenchi universe and Bleach first dropped.
It took 5 1/2 eps to start cooking
it's got me
cause I keep waiting to see some deep symbolism cause Utena. I keep over analyzing the simplest shyt
it's like the showrunner watched slice of life, unedited sailor moon and played persona 4 and 5 and got inspired after not reading or watching shyt in years
The ending theme got me tranq'ed. It reminds me of the tenchi U theme and the early InuYasha/Midnight Run themes, so it makes me feel warm, fuzzy and nostalgic. Straight magic hour music.
And those reasons.... I hate this show. But I can't stop watching it.
