Not saying they dont have originals u want but they trying to get most popular ones or newer seasons of anime that people want too see most of granted its subjective on what people like but going by certain anime that are popular in that season they are buying exclusives so the other companies can't get them from what it seems like
Ex: kaguya love is war is funimation exclusive
Season 1 and new season 2 with both being dubs
