finished shield herosome of these characters are so gullible.. Myne is up there with Rachel & Griffith as most hated characters, what a bytch.

You seen Kuroko or Hajime No Ippo yet? Sports anime is legit. Haikyuu is fukking outstanding though and a lot of other shows can't fukk it with it straight up.
second Ippo and Kuroko. automatic must watch stuff if you liked anything else in the genre or any genre really.
One Outs has baseball with a corrupt gambling spin so even if you find the sport boring there's something extra to keep you entertained. The MC is an aloof genius who''s fun to follow.
Baby Steps has Tennis, main guy uses strategy to beat people since he doesn't have the raw talent to do so. He starts off out of shape and has to work his ass off in order to become even decent at the sport. eventually falls in love with the game and puts his all into the competitions, sees improvement. has some good side characters. Unlike Haikyuu there's a subplot romantic interest too that also plays Tennis. Imo this is an underrated gem.
Ping Pong the Animation is unorthodox because the animation looks bizarre and it doesn't really tell you what its about early on. but it's honestly the best sports anime ever at describing how talent works in sports. Some people got it and others do not. Can work as hard as you want and struggle to seperate yourself from peers while someone else can wake up out of bed and drop 30/10. And when they put talent together with ambition? It's over. Also goes into how injuries can halt careers, how hard it can be to move on once your high school days are over, bonds you make that can carry on forever...really good. but looks weird.
in general its hard to go wrong in the genre though so you can explore anything
So since I was deployed I didn't watch any anime for nearly a year. I'm still playing catch up but I did manage to watch Conception.
I have to say, it was one of the dumbest excuses for a harem anime I ever watched. Still watched the entire season.
