And yeah I've seen Kizu, Monogatari is the reason I can't watch anime right now everytime I finish anime that I end up loving It's hard for me to watch new stuff. Sit there like "man I wish I could watch more Monogatari"

I can relate to that. Realized after season 2 that there's nothing else like this in anime.

It did get me into some other shows by the director and his visual style. Sangastu Lion, Arakawa Under the Bridge were good.

I could never get into Monogatari. I watched much of the first season when it originally aired. Just never gripped me really. Also tried Katanagatari and it was the same. Way too much talking.

understandable. I found the dialogue and how it was presented to be interesting. gives the characters personality beyond just dere types.

I've wondered for a while but how do you even start/watch Gundam? Is there a specific order or can you just watch em however tf you want

People say Monogatari and Fate/ is confusing but Gundam is way worse, there's a million of them and they all seem like they're their own thing

Fate is confusing. It just seems like the same story rehashed a 1000 times. I gave up on it.

Now with Gundam, it's kinda Final Fantasy. Related themes but all different stories and universes. You have your MSG, 00, Wing, IBO, Seed (and I'm missing one or two more). MSG is the longest running one and the OG. If you're trying to watch that entire series chronological order (universe timeline) then start with MSG: Origin, then MSG. I think after that comes Zeta, then Unicorn. That's a broad overview. There's a few OVAs you should watch as well but they're more side-stories (ex: 08th MS team, Thunderbolt).

I liked SEED better. Destiny was a train wreck. Especially how they switched the main character half way through.

I'm still salty the planned continuation of that series never happened.

Fate isn't confusing to go thru at all. Monotagari is hella circular in story telling. Gundam is a huge franchise with many sidestories. Zeta/ZZ is probably the worst section go thru.

While I admire the Gundam franchise, my childhood is like just Original Gundam and Gundam Wing. It's like having a catalog of a famous Musician. While I don't hate how the Musician decides to change their style, for me, I stick with the material that drew me towards it.

For that I am thankful, but my time with Gundam is over.
