People sleeping on this show. It's one of the best out there.

To be fair, S1 was kinda slow and the main cast being kids can seem weird at first, but it has really picked up since the S1 finale. World building is top notch, it is up there with MT and Re:Zero in that regard for iseakis. Character development is great as well.

Tragic that show never got its next season, shyt was really just startin to pop off too with the world building and the opposing nations coming into contact

It's very light and a typical "let's just do this twist for the sake of doing a twist" show. The demonic faces everyone makes are hilarious because most of the time is not about anything remotely demonic

watching Shirayuki Hime. This is such a pleasant vanilla shoujo. Has likable characters with ambitions. A beautiful medieval fantasy setting. Zero contrived drama, no dumb misunderstandings, no fanservice fluff.

Feels like its missing an extra spark to be "great" though. Maybe if the conflict were more serious and unpredictable. But its a fun time regardless.

Somebody that finds Shirayuki Hime entertaining should probably check out The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent. They kinda have a similar vibe. It's also getting a second season.
