Bleach quality collapsed when Aizen was defeated. It's like a little dog trapped in an apartment with the dead body of its old lady owner. With its master gone the only sustenance left it to eat her corpse. Every time Aizen appeared after his defeat it was the nourishment Bleach needed.

Man on my current rewatch and know what I know now. It’s a work of art seeing how Aizen was playing everyone with that good guy role.

Like the way he’s all nice to everyone and how Gin is the one that acted sleazy and the way they played the tension between them.

Like NO ONE saw that shyt coming.

Honestly hadn't considered it.

Orochimaru is pretty much the only real contender, everyone else was a traumatic orphan that saw the light i.e. Nagato, Obito. Madara had potential but got hoe'd and went out on good terms. My nikka Kisame was a straight G but doesn't reach Top 10.

Orochimaru to this day skated on crimes of mass murder, kidnapping, child experimentation, Kage assassinations, etc. with no real consequences. Even got his seed a scholarship to Konoha U. Pretty fukking evil.

Bleach falling off before the break is why building villain successors is important.

Yhwach is probably the most broken villain in existence. He was all seeing and all knowing and all powerful. Tite Kubo literally have to ass pull a deus ex to have him defeated. Aizen was also broken but his defeat was still somewhat believable. Yhwach losing just felt flimsy.

I remember hearing that Kubo's health was terrible by the time he finished the manga. I'm cautiously optimistic about Bleach's return and that he'll flesh out the end of the tybw arc.

Honestly with AoT, Vineyard,
Bungo Stray Dogs & Tokyo Revengers are in the winter. Actions Brehs here gonna eat good in the winter.

Fall too with CSM, Golden Kamuy & Mob Psycho.

Bleach and MHA is their too but there is more uncertainty with those 2 then the rest of the shows I listed above. (As long as either Crunchy or Muse Asia gets the uncensored version of TR there should be no problems regarding that. In terms of getting good subs quickly with the uncensored version.)

I mean one is a finished product one is the new big Shounen. Wayyyyyyy too early to make that comparison now. Comparing it to KnY, JJK, and MHA makes more sense at this point.
