The light novel ended around 16 volumes so maybe they decided to move on. I also heard that much of the latter half of the light novel is just going back over events that happened from other people's perspective. Since it wrapped I plan to read it.
We beating they asses, getting bags off them, and fukkin they bytches in real life. So they wanna animate and put some bullshyt in games to hate.

That sucks to hear. I really wound up liking that first season. I've never gotten into Light Novels but maybe I'll try picking that one up for a starter (it's that or Mushoku Tensei but I kinda wanna let the manga/anime surprise me for that one).
I don't think it was a rushed ending. I think the anime covered about half the full plot.
BTW if you ever want to sample these light novels before you invest in them there's a site called That Novel Corner where the guy buys them and uploads the official retail versions in epub format. I've used that site to try out a series before I decide to buy it.

Anybody know the proper order for Danmachi? On volume 4 now. Should Sword Oratoria be started before that or should it be read at a later volume. I know it shows events from Aiz perspective but not so much what events.
