Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

The movies are fire breh, one has a terrible dub though, the OVAs are fire too. There are other short extra type OVAs that were pretty good too and funny.

You cannot go wrong with YYH.

Funimation pisses me off so bad. They never released the dubs for the OVAs they did a few years ago

And they never secured the rights to dub the fukking Poltergeist Reprt movie.

My dad copped me that DVD from Best Buy back in the day and that movie goes hard as fukk. The Manga Entertainment dub is questionable but the movie is worth it

the two you mentioned, plus Mob Psycho and Bleach. will binge watch My Hero Academia once all the episodes are out.

Yeah that movie was lit af. The music was really good too.

After watching the recent OVAs, I really think YYH could run with current anime now.

The OVA with Hiei and Kurama felt like a horror movie low-key.

Just watched the first episode of The Eminence of Shadow. Not what I was expecting but it did a good job portraying Cid's character.

Watched another anime original Do It Yourself. Basically what you see is what you get with this one being a CGDCT's SoL comedy. Wouldn't recommend it for majority of people here, but if you are into genre it is very charming. Basically the concept is a club where a group of girls build stuff on their own.

Also, after watching the Mob episode earlier today, man Mob almost never misses

finally started watching Made in Abyss

Ozen being all up in the screen creeps me the fukk out.

I wasn't ready for those last 3 eps.

Show gave me the feeling that the author lost everything in a messy divorce and said I'ma take it out on all a y'all

It does not let up breh. Even when they get a W you are on some PTSD shyt expecting something to go sideways

I started watching it just before season 2 premiered and couldn't believe such an amazing show was practically never mentioned in this thread.

I think it started off a bit too fluffy and "Let's have an adventure!" for most.

I was practically like til the Ozen episode and the reveal about Riko. Show turned into a halfway horror story right quick.

then it kept turning up the torture.


Maybe the real moral is "kids, stay your ass at home."
