I still love MHA, but the biggest mistake it did was giving Deku essentially complete control of his quirk, no longer making him the underdog, getting rid of the only villain that really tied everything together (All for One), and completely getting rid of the suspense of All Might being in the field (and us wondering when the public would find out his secret/if he would end up dying because of it.
It did all of that essentially at the same time (season 3) and had to do a soft reboot essentially. Introducing new villains like Overhaul and Gentle Criminal to hold us over until they decided what to do with the league of villains.
It also doesn't help that between season 1 and now the market got flooded with insanely fast paced anime like DS, JJK, AoT S3, now Chainsaw Man, etc. Back in the day MHA was the gold standard for pacing, and starting each season off with only 1 filler episode was considered noble. Tough break.

lowkey if JJk goes as far into the manga people think it will, it'll probably clear everything 2023 has to release, including AoT. I don't think it'll cover everything though, people forget how long the arc is.
Hidden Inventory is short, so I could see them spending the majority of two cours on just Shibuya and finishing that up. Hopefully.

Bleach was great again this week. I'm liking how subdued the colors are in this adaptation, gives this sense of dread like something catastrophic is about to happen. Lot of gore already & Yhwatch seems to be the most intimidating bleach villain to date. Feels a lot more seinen than shounen (and thats a good thing)
