Shinobi had a terrific episode. Twist was unexpected. Tho the investment to get to this point still doesn't feel worth it tbh despite that.

Found out today a friend of a friend is the Voice actor for my son denji 
i know English dub actors don't get paid the big bucks but that's still dope and they enjoy it

i mean IMO that should be the standard. No reason for it not to be.
the pay they get is below standard tho and im finding that to be true about most of the animation industry
they really do prey on these nikkas being in it "for the love"with that being said im watching the dub for Slam Dunk for the first time and this shyt is way better than expected

Quality has improved, but I feel still not there yet to catch the emotional intensity for certain scenes or capture the right tone. Also the recycled VAs issue can throw you off because easier to notice than when listening to a VA of your native tongue compared to a sub. Anyways, accessibility for them has improved and the same with quality.
So DN is still good for #actiongang? I wasn’t thinking about watching it, but everyone is saying it’s so good.
I’m excited to see Black Clover now because everyone’s making Asta sound like a beast.

I love anime period so I kinda watch everything. Although I prefer #ActionGang (cuz that's how my pops put me on to anime) something doesn't have to be action based for me to enjoy it.
DN is fast paced enough where it could very well feel like an action anime, but its not. It's more thriller than anything.
If you were to twist my arm and ask me which show is better, then I'm gon say Black Clover cuz that shyt's in my top 20. Death Note more top 25/30 to me.
Asta is a beast and him and Deku kinda start off on the same path, but Asta more bout that life than Deku is.

Oh yea JP voices still obviously better. More specifically range. I have noticed this with child characters and the typical big tough villian.
Kid characters end up sounding too old (like Damian from SxF) and those type of villains at times can feel too cartoony at times.

Hell yeah. i guess watching Thundercats with him was the official start. nikka came home from the video store one night with Ninja Scroll and Fist of the Northstar and I ain't been the same since.
Those 2 were prolly his favorites, but he fukked with the Street Fighter V series a lot. He liked the whole concept of Ken and Ryu traveling the world shooting fades and becoming better fighters. Fatal Fury series, and mad other 90's shyt he liked too. He liked Afro Samurai as well.
I like most of them shyts 2. I ain’t seen them all, Street fighter 2V was the shyt, I just wish Ryu had his headband. It irked me something fierce.
