This aint even Netflix issue since Cyberpunk had everyone talking about it. And it was prob the biggest anime or one of the biggest when it released. Even did very well for Japan considering its an anime best on a WRPG. Hell Romantic Killer had a decent following given that it is a small show.

Given how big Jojo is, the fact people are barely talking about it is a big indicator how much Netflix fukked this up. Regardless if this season was a step down or not for it.

I am indifferent about it's release cadence. At least it's not like AoT which is taking like 3+ years to finish its final season lol. I don't mind the batch of episodes if it's released in a timely manner, but I do feel some of the momentum for hype it's lost when you release it in batches. I do agree discussion wise it's pretty much dead because I feel that is mainly achieved when a show is weekly, which is the weakness of Netflix strategy because you don't get much time for water cooler talk about shows. I think this is a major issue with Netflix as a whole because take Stranger Things for example. It's one of the most popular shows on TV, but there's not much discussion because people will either power through it or watch at own pace, and can't speak much about it with other due to spoilers. This huts Netflix because their content doesn't have much long-term mindshare and everything is over within a month.

Anyways, I don't mind this cadence since I don't have many people to discuss anime with, so it's whatever for me. However, like you said there's no hype for JoJo which is one of the bigger series, and I only realized new season started when it showed up in my Netflix "continue to watch" section. It's a shame because I think Stone Ocean is one of the best arcs

Just off the last 2 episodes Chainsaw Man has a chance to be one of the best shounen shows ever if it can keep this up. People talking about shows like Jujutsu Kaisen and Tokyo Revengers. Those are boring in comparison to this.

Ol girl I thought she was crap but she brought a knife to multiple gun fights and won. I hope she stays on.
