Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

Appreciate you @-ing me because some nikkas, that shall remain nameless, can't seem to answer questions without spoiling shyt.

As far as Nel and the other 2, I was on the fence at first. They're like the only source of comedic relief in the Hueco Mundo arc because everyone else and the setting is fairly serious, so I gave that a pass. After a while longer, you realize it gives Hollows more depth to the point where you have to consider some of them as more than just cardboard cutouts, generic bad guy inserts. Not all of them are about that life and they're just trying to get by with their world undergoing upheaval.

Nel and her crew's value continues to evolve, so stick with it. You'll see more dimensions thanks to that shift in perspective, you already mentioned it like a week ago with Grimmjow and him seeming like his own man.

BTW, that Rukia fight was legit. For the first time she seemed like a real Soul Reaper and her Zanpaktou made sense.

I'm going to say it. I can understand people loving CSM and thinking it's a great anime. But so far nothing has drawn me in to caring about any of the characters, their motivation, or this big bad gun devil looming in the back drop. This shyt is all style and no substance Mid.

If you love it that's cool too.

I ain’t going to spoil it for you but there’s a real big reason why they are after that gun devil and it ain’t just to kill it.

I know it looks generic but there’s a method to all of this madness. In the season finale pocha at the end said what he said for a reason about the door.

imo the best parts of the chainsaw man have *nothing* to do with the gun devil or makima lol...

and tbh - its the most filler-like arc in the entire run.

all of csm got the energy and depth of an early 2000s jason statham movie before dude realized he was actually a comedian.

Absolutely, it doesn't take much to be mindful and respond/avoid accordingly. You're definitely going to be blessed once you get to the current material, it's been a damn good look. You even get to avoid the decade long gap most of us that care had to suffer through.

Enjoy this arc though, Hueco Mundo is one of my favorites in anime, definitely the best for me in the series. There's just too many fire moments.

How much more is there in the arc?

Like I was saying before, I’m hyped as hell because these are enemies unlike the Soul Society.

Even if they have asspulls, I wanna see what they pull off.

Btw, is Rukia’s ice power similar to short white hair brehs ice power?

I didn’t know they could have similar ones.

thinking on it more - a lot of the shyt that people go absolutely crazy for in jojo was a regular fukking occurrence in bleach so much of the feedback and narrative on shows legit comes down to what generation/crowd set up shop first and which echo chambers took up the most real estate.

How much more is there to this arc? Breh you are literally just seeing the tip of the iceberg. Everyone you know is going to run the fade. Every Captain and Lieutenant class you have ever heard of is going to get that work in this arc or the one immediately after/running concurrently. Everything is still ahead of you breh, Rukia just took out the lowest ranked Espada Aaronreio(sp?) so you know everyone else on both sides is about to show out.

As far as her Zanpaktou, it's only similar in the element. What she can do is drastically different and honestly, much weaker than Hitsuguya. I will say that her's is almost as versatile in it's straightforward applications but she just doesn't have the power that he does.

I ain’t gonna lie. I do think there should have been more of some kind of Bount type arc where Ichigo had more time to hone his powers against some mid villains because I was thinking the same thing when Ichigo was beating some of the Soul Reapers.

I felt the Soul Society arc was a lil too early for something that grand.

Not complaining though because I enjoyed it.

Thinking about it now, I wonder if he’s the second strongest. I didn’t really think of it until now, but I remember when he shot that big ass beam at the Soul Society scientist.
