Spy classroom def the big disappointment of the season. Execution without proper setup is doomed to fail. Tho the twist was nice in this episode regarding the 8th girl. Everything else felt very underwhelming.

Will give it 3 more episodes since episode 4 is a refresher of sorts.
If they showed that twist they’re flying through the material at an alarming pace. That’s very close to the end of volume 1. This adaptation is looking like it’s gonna just be trash.

I was looking forward to watching it as long as the adaptation was solid but most of what I’m hearing/seeing regarding it isn’t good, It’s a shame :francis:

Danmachi with another fire episode :blessed: . Regarding this episode: to my understanding after looking over the episode Haruhime cloak has some reduced damage to fire qualities. (Not null since she can't walk after the fight). Mikoto unleashing her spell was hella dope. Maybe finally Cassandra will stop having these annoying monologues. They aint out of it yet tho.
Cassandra has me wanting to close out the episode every episode, just throw the whole bih away. :unimpressed:

On the flip, if they're keeping it consistent, there's no fukking way they should survive in the Deep Floors just based off what we've seen with Bell and Lion. No way. They're already on life support from the impromptu Floor Boss, those sheep should be snacking on these fools in no time.

shyt is looking mid at best. Unless they back track of what they skipped and slow the pace shyt is looking rough.

Essentially feels like we have 2+ episodes of content that we missed.

Yea. I’m expecting them to meet up with reinforcements from up top. Otherwise there’s no way they should survive with the conditions the two injured are.

Lion def ain’t making it out unless some weird development pops up.

The only reinforcement I can think of are the Xenos, they mentioned before that they'd gone deeper in for their own reasons. Anyone coming from the outside should be too damn late, at least to help Bell. Maybe if they stretched credulity they can reach the rest of the Hestia squad before it's too late but Bell and Lion are too far down.

I wish I could catch up to Danmachi but it's a daunting task to read all that. Haven't even read the spinoff at all and I'm on like volume 8 of the original series. Can only read 1-2 books at a time and then I gotta take a break and read another series. Determined this is one I have to read before watching because the anime will ruin the books.

Honestly we should expect much from Light Novel adaptations or at least expect that they will match the source. Transitioning from a Light Novel medium is much much more difficult then manga to anime for obvious reasons. Sure 86 and Mushoku Tensei were ground breaking one season adaptations, but there are so many mid and bad adaptations that its hard to really expect much.

Imo they should follow what Slime has done where its anime adaptation is also very similar to its manga adaptation. I believe Sword Isekai has some similiarties to this as well. Obviously some Light Novels can't work in this manner, but honestly if a manga adaptation of a Light Novel is too hard to transition then there is no way an anime adaptation would be any easier.

The only reinforcement I can think of are the Xenos, they mentioned before that they'd gone deeper in for their own reasons. Yea reinforcements for the B squad mostly cause they are burned out after fighting that boss. Honestly Welf and Aisha (altho slight nicked up) are the only ones that can fight that is still in good shape.

The Xenos were kind of struggling with those dudes in S3. I think the Xenos are helping out where Dix held held the xeno's prisoners and they mentioned they are too far away to help. And no water means Marie has no way of helping out. Not to mention that damn Juggernaut is still some around if they aren't careful. And Lion can't eat stand for 5 mins let alone walk. :francis:

This Bocchi the Rock adaptation is A1, did the 4-koma justice and then some. The animation looks amazing too :wow:
It's crazy to think they outshined SxF from a comedy pov last season, but they actually did. I swear every episode had me dying :deadrose: And they actually did a good job with the cast and they could have the show be comedy from Bocchi, Ryo and the drunk chick. S2 is guaranteed, but even if they maintain this quality that will be hella impressive. This was like 86, KnY, and MT level of quality in the adaptation.
