I wish I could catch up to Danmachi but it's a daunting task to read all that. Haven't even read the spinoff at all and I'm on like volume 8 of the original series. Can only read 1-2 books at a time and then I gotta take a break and read another series. Determined this is one I have to read before watching because the anime will ruin the books.

Just go at your own pace or you will get disinterested in any series or burnout
I only read 1 or 2 like you and if that series latest novel is mid I go back to that series later ex: mushoku tensei vol 19 was not good too me average at best that I’ll go back to the series later on and do another series instead
Ya the spin-off to danmachi is piff tho the American release is caught up tho for most part too

Tbh That sounds about right. Series is mostly a fun ride but it doesn’t do anything amazing yet.

I still plan on checking it out. But honestly I would rather want them to invest in S3. Rather then what MHA did where during S5 and give us a garbage ass season just so they could focus on the movie that came out then.

I just gotta see for myself how bad it really is and I also wouldn’t feel right skipping it. I want to watch the whole thing.

I’ll tell you what though, you can definitely skip most of it, but there’s no point going back.

Some people say watch the show then the filler after, just don’t.

But it 4sho ruins the flow of the show immensely, luckily I get to watch all of the episodes, so I don’t forget much. I couldn’t imagine what brehs had to go through back in the day.

The music is so fire breh. I be bumpin that shyt like a real album.

Wait until you get to the later episodes.

I finished chainsaw man, almost done bleach Thousand year blood war part 1, and I picked Mob Psycho 100 back up again

Chainsaw man definitely ended with more intrigue than it started. The main character denji is highey crazier than even gon. A main character and the first person to ever call him a friend got smoked and his reaction the whole time was . Theres a whole bunch of characters they shown at the end and I wonder what they are about. To be honest, from how people were hyping up Makima, she barely did anything. Her ability seems pretty OP and her surviving that attack and pretending that nothing happened was but she stayed out of the mix for the most part. I'm guessing why people care so much about her and intensely stan or hate her probably happens later anyways.
There was some very comedic moments too . Denji telling the katana devil "ok that move is banned" had me
Kobeni definitely ends as the most improved character. At first I legit thought this character was WOAT (I was thinking this was another zenitsu) but she had moments that made her look like a g and it even makes her earlier spazzing funny in retrospect. This character also seems human compared to the other sociopaths in this show.

Bleach Thousand year blood war...what is there to say. This anime is just goated but BLEACH set been known that. Easily one of the best modern shounen arcs I've seen and is prime big 3.
They really got ichigo like those women on dating sites talmbout I'm 5% this race 5% that race with him being mixed with damn near EVERYTHING

I like that the old school soul reapers got way more attention too like yamamoto and his old squad. The only thing I don't understand is why did they skip ichigo losing to the zanpakto in the 3rd palace. They keep mentioning how he caught that work and got beat so bad they threw him out and I'm like wtf when did that happen I legit thought I skipped an episode or something


Mob psycho I'm only on part II but I've seen part III getting hyped in here and I liked the first part so why not. Mob really got supernatural rizz although I feel like airing his whole exorcist thing out in that novel is going to work against him.

All I will say you are past the slow parts of CSM (at least in part one). Honestly when I reread what the anime covered it was such a drag. Anime made these parts much better then how it was in the manga.

Yeah, If you’re watching 1 episode a day, do not watch the filler at all.

Usually 3 in the minimum if I'm busy with work or on the weekends if plan comes up. But if work slows down I can watch like 6-8 episodes in a day. But I also like to read manga and game as well during my free time.

Honestly I'm fine with watching anything outside of those overly weird ecchi ones, idols and super generic isekais. Tho I got way too much that I'm attempting to watch this season

Rangiku low-key is one of the biggest underachievers in the entire series. She's basically got the same abilities as Byakuya, it's just dust instead of tiny blades and she's trash 99% of the time.

They really blessed us with TYBW, this shyt was legitimately great. Looking forward to seeing how they adapt going forward because it's just going to get more chaotic and the number of story beats doubles. Just hoping they don't fumble.

Mob nailed the landing, it's definitely going down as one of the best in the genre. It literally dabbled in a few different elements and almost all of them were executed beautifully. The comedy is so natural, probably what surprised me the most since the debut.
