I question if it's COVID causing this. This is the same studio that had to delay 86. COVID could just be an excuse here.
I wouldn't be mad at it, but it also wouldn't surprise me at all. It's like the only excuse fans will accept, cuz most of them def don't care about the employee health.
I seen a reddit thread about this earlier

I'm sure COVID is playing a part but it wouldn't surprise me if the amount of anime coming out and the level of quality that is expected is a major factor in the delays. Japan clearly doesn't gaf about overworking people

@LordDeathwatch

I’m on the Zanpakto Rebellion arc my nikka

:wow::wow:

I see they got Chrollo baby brother as the main villain.
This one is good, at least it was for me. You're going to see most of everyone's Zanpaktou manifestations and their personalities, which is dope. The overall story is pretty decent and Chrollo Jr. is an interesting take.

Getting to see the Shinigami have to fight without their sword abilities is a nice setup for the new Bleach Thousand Year Blood War too.

Yeah I instantly thought of Chrollo because his jacket is literally almost the same. Long jacket with fur on the hood.

So far so good breh, really enjoying the arc so far.

Plus this arc started right when it became HD full screen, talk about good timing.

I’m really excited to see how they win without them. I’m sure I won’t be let down like HxH (I’m kinda joking).

I’ve noticed, Bleach isn’t really that long without filler right?

I’m assuming the Hueco Mundo arc might be the last in the main story until Thousand Year Blood War.

It's not that long because the Blood War Arc is almost like 30% of the entire series and they never adapted it into the anime until now

There's technically like 2 arcs after Hueco Mundo but they're about the exact same thing, so they run together seamlessly. Doesn't seem that long at all especially considering you're dealing with someone like Aizen.

Oh on another note, I've been clowning these fools elsewhere online complaining about Vinland Saga. Told them it's not a battle anime, they're upset because it's Farmland and there's not action every episode like Season 1. They're going to be highly upset this entire arc because it's all in-depth character development. :mjlol:

Lmao at least they know. I ain’t know shyt about HxH. I do like the show for what it is though, I really hope they animate it again.

How did you feel about Vinland going a new direction from the previous season? They probably ain’t expect it.

I think they've done a good job so far of adapting the material, it's actually more entertaining than the manga. Thorfinn started off annoying AF, then twisted, then insane, then a useful jobber, and now he's just broken. Taking the time to rebuild him is a story worth telling.

He straight up lied in this last episode though talking about "Nothing good has ever happened to him." :mjtf: Lying ass mf had an ideal life all the way up to his father's death, like storybook idyllic life. Low-key, it's his fault that all got ruined so it is what it is.

Thorfinn:

Why do I have to be afraid to die?

What's good about being alive?

I can't think of anything...

:mindblown: What about going back home? What about seeing the rest of your family who love you?!

I can't wait to see what gets this man out of this funk :dead:

Man got consumed with revenge where that was the only thing on his mind since his dad died. Like even before Askeladd died. When that merchant dude was talking to Thorfinn about coming back to his family. It's like he lost all attachment and connection to his life pre Thors death.

I wonder if his father's death is so painful for him to remember he blocked out everything that happened before that. Someone got grab him by the neck and get him to remember how life was like before that incident.

Add another one to the delayed list.

There is way way too many shows. Looking at MAL at all the airing anime this season.
  • In total 50 + seasonal anime starting this season
  • 30 + continuing anime
  • 30+ ONA's (basically batch releases I believe)
  • 13 Movies

This is beyond ridiculous. I get anime is popular, but come on man granted not all of these are typical budget anime. A good majority is tho. Still these anime are being worked on the last minute for each episode. With few exceptions like BSD and Tomo-chan which are done iirc. They get outsourced to China and these places get behind schedule everything gets pushed back.

There is a major issue with trying to get more stuff released regardless if its good or not. It's funny Mappa constantly gets shyt on. But A-1 right now is overloading their workers like crazy. You also got Kadokawa which is even worse. They push out so many anime adaptations of light novels where 80 % is shyt, 15% is mid and 5% is good.

At this point anime really is just an advertisment for these source materials. Whats the point in watching something if they animation is mid?

That's all 70% of anime ever was. 10% of it is anime original and 20% of it is for works like Attack on Titan and Slime that are so popular the anime while still a commercial for the source actually does stand as a product itself.

For most anime series you're lucky if you get the full introduction to the source adapted in the 12 episodes you'll get for the series.

Some of this stuff like Spy X Family is picked up so early into its life there isn't much room for many more seasons because it'll catch up quick and be stuck for years.
