There's so many anime that I still have yet to watch that I see y'all discuss. I'll get to some of them eventually.

You don't want to give someone a super long anime to start with its got to be pretty simple and show what the medium is capable of. Like @VegetasHairline said Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo are good starter animes. Look great, great characters, not too long and easy to follow with dope soundtracks. One Piece too long and looks like ass.
