Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

I always viewed it as flying too close to the sun. We have to remember during the imperial china era you can't really overstep and you have to know your place or you'll be in your grave. I always took it as she knows her place and doesn't want to know more because even though she has connections she can still be put in her grave. It's like in game of thonres where Ned discovered that Joffery didn't have a claim to the throne due to possibly being Robert's blood and that discovery resulted in that character's death. I assume she feared something like that would happen if she digged too deep into something like Jinshi's identity. She obviously had some theories but she remebered what Lumen said about making sure to be 100 and not make assumptions and that's why she acts the way she does surrounding that.

I get the logic, I just didn't like that we were reminded of it every 3-4 eps after Mao Mao solved a problem were in most cases, she overstepped and went too far anyways. The Jinshi stuff was basically used as a running gag-joke. I just found it increasingly annoying/not funny so I'm glad it's over

Especially when the source material BEEN done, they don't care about late anime-onlys we didn't even know they were gonna spin the block and finish bleach to begin with

But to release it right before the final part? They really couldn’t wait lol.

From their perspective the anime is for the people who already read the manga to see their favorite moments animated. Just seeing what Ichigo's Bankai looks like isn't really that bad a spoiler though.

Yea I don't get it at all the anime is an adaptation, not the source material, you got spoiled because you didn't want to read, that's your own L

It's almost a decade old spoiler at this point. They aren't going to make a game that covers a series that ended like 9 years ago and leave out characters / forms that were in that series just to cater to a minority of fans that only watch the anime and purposely avoid the manga.

No but bleach was one of the big 3 and they were called the big 3 for a reason, EVERYONE was locked in on those mangas and animes during their heyday.


You just weren't locked in to those games at the same time they were airing so you didn't know, but you not bouta rewrite history like that hasn't always been the case, it was...

Ao Ashi got S2 announced but it’s by TMS Entertainment rather then Production IG

Tbh the studio change isn’t a big deal since the animation from S1 was middling despite the great story.

Nice, it looks like most of the sports animes are getting another season then.

FIne where it sended but would've been interesting to see where they go with Overtake S2. I felt that anime was a sleeper

Kowloon Generic Romance continues to be

It's such a 90's show that even has the common flaws from that era. It takes forever to reveal stuff and there's a ton of implicit storytelling so you can get lost rather easily. But it's such a compelling anime there's some meta stuff here with how hard it goes for nostalgia of decades ago while it being such a big part of the plot as well.

@tripleaamin I did some digging and the show is at chapter 78-79 of the manga. I read some chapters and there's a lot of stuff that's 1 to 1 so with two episodes left I'm sure the anime almost gonna line up with the manga ending. I'm pretty sure you gonna live it when you watch the whole anime series breh, that first episode got you wrong
